Winter 2022 Classroom Learning

  • Semester Dates | February 2 - June 15, 2022
  • Registration & Fees
  • Priority Registration will be given to residents of the Calgary Board of Education (CBE). Residents of the CBE may go online to book appointments starting January 4, 2022. Appointments will take place January 17 - February 1, 2022. Book early to avoid disappointment; classes fill quickly. See Registration Dates & Times. Non-residents of the CBE may complete the Course Request Form starting on January 17, 2022.

How to Register

  • Course Request FormComplete and submit the Course Request Form.
  • After you complete the Course Request Form, you will be provided with a link to book a virtual registration appointment. You will complete your course registration during that virtual appointment.
  • You will receive an email reminder 24 hours before your scheduled registration appointment containing a link to join the virtual meeting.
  • At your scheduled appointment time, use the link provided to join a Microsoft Teams meeting with an academic advisor from Student Supports. If you are experiencing issues joining the virtual meeting, Contact Registration.
  • Get ready for a great semester!

Students come to Chinook to complete, upgrade or enhance their high school diplomas as they prepare to enter post-secondary institutions or the world of work. Chinook offers morning, afternoon and evening classes, multiple intakes, and specialized programs to allow students flexibility in achieving their goals. Choose from a wide range of credit courses.

Unique Opportunities

Dual-Credit, Exploratory & Off-Campus Programs - the Calgary Board of Education partners with post-secondary institutions, businesses and organizations to offer a wide-range of work-experience opportunities for students.

Online Learning

CBe-learn is the Calgary Board of Education's online school for grades 10-12 and offers Summer School Courses at the high school level.
