COVID-19 Updates

Winter 2022 Classroom Learning

  • Semester Dates | February 2 - June 15, 2022
  • Registration & Fees
  • Priority Registration will be given to residents of the Calgary Board of Education (CBE). Residents of the CBE may go online to book appointments starting 8:00 AM on January 4, 2022. Appointments will take place January 17 - February 1, 2022. Book early to avoid disappointment; classes fill quickly. See Registration Dates & Times. Non-residents of the CBE may complete the Course Request Form starting on January 17, 2022.

How to Register

  • Starting 8:00 AM on January 4, 2022, complete and submit the Course Request Form. This form will be made available here.
  • After you complete the Course Request Form, you will be provided with a link to book a virtual registration appointment. You will complete your course registration during that virtual appointment.
  • You will receive an email reminder 24 hours before your scheduled registration appointment containing a link to join the virtual meeting.
  • At your scheduled appointment time, use the link provided to join a Microsoft Teams meeting with an academic advisor from Student Supports. If you are experiencing issues joining the virtual meeting, Contact Registration.
  • Get ready for a great semester!

Students come to Chinook to complete, upgrade or enhance their high school diplomas as they prepare to enter post-secondary institutions or the world of work. Chinook offers morning, afternoon and evening classes, multiple intakes, and specialized programs to allow students flexibility in achieving their goals. Choose from a wide range of credit courses.

Unique Opportunities

Dual-Credit, Exploratory & Off-Campus Programs - the Calgary Board of Education partners with post-secondary institutions, businesses and organizations to offer a wide-range of work-experience opportunities for students.

Online Learning

CBe-learn is the Calgary Board of Education's online school for grades 10-12 and offers Summer School Courses at the high school level.
