The study of energy and matter and the impact of physics on technology and society. Topics include: kinematics, dynamics, circular motion, work/energy, oscillatory motion and mechanical waves.

Attendance |
Regular attendance throughout the semester is required for success. You must attend the first two classes of the semester or contact your teacher with a valid reason for your absence. If you are absent for the first two classes without contacting your teacher, you will be withdrawn to make room for students on the waitlist. |

Each class includes a scheduled 15 minute break. If a classroom section has filled, you can be placed on a waiting list. Phone 403-777-7200 for information. Times, dates and locations are subject to change.
