Improve Your English Skills
Courses are available to permanent residents, refugees, Canadian citizens, visitors and temporary foreign workers for Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) 4-8.
Courses are offered year-round at Forest Lawn High School. Both full-time and part-time study are possible. Full-time courses are 20 hours per week for 14 weeks.
Part-time options are 8 hours (2 days) or 12 hours (3 days) per week for 14 weeks.

Intermediate to Advanced Levels
ESL 1 to ESL 4 integrate all language skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar. These courses are designed to increase English proficiency in order to re-enter the workplace or to qualify to attend post-secondary institutions.
Accelerated Academic Preparation II
Advanced ESL students may take this intensive program to help prepare for post-secondary entrance. This advanced level course focuses on developing the English skills required to succeed in college, technical school, or university.
Completion of Accelerated Academic Preparation II is accepted by:
- SAIT Polytechnic - as an entrance requirement for Career Programs in place of English Language Arts 30-1/30-2, TOEFL iBT 80 and equivalent to English Language Foundations Level 5 (ELF 5)
